I was born and raised in Bristol, England and moved to Canada in 1998. In 2005, I obtained an Honors Degree in Visual Arts from the University of Western Ontario. Upon completing my degree, I returned to Europe for a year, travelled extensively and took thousands of photographs during that time. After trekking through the Spanish Pyrenees, exploring medieval churches in France, drinking hot mulled wine at the Prague Christmas market and standing on the finish line of the Tour de France I returned to Canada. It became clear to me that photography was my calling. I trained with an amazing photographer who had 20+ years working in the industry.
In 2007, I founded Bristol Style Photography in London, Ontario. I offered a range of photographic services (wedding photography, family portraiture, commercial, real estate and product photography). In addition to photography, I am a trained picture framer. I have a keen interest in Victorian art history, particularly in William Morris and the Arts and Crafts movement. Bristol Style was dissolved at the end of 2012 in preparation for a move to the East Coast. I now live and work happily in beautiful Lunenburg Nova Scotia with my husband and children.
